Spring Films Begin at Cornell Cinema

Welcome back! If your New Year's Resolution was to see more movies, buddy, have we got you covered: our Spring calendar is on our website, with over 90 short films and features, and the season begins Wed Jan 22! If you don't already have one of our All-Access Passes, you can buy one here, as it's still an amazing bargain for the Spring semester! CU graduate & professional students pay just $10, all other students just $20, and everyone else $30, to see just about everything we're showing. Incredible!

Check out our January lineup, which starts with AD ASTRA, starring Brad Pitt, and continues through three programs of Oscar-Nominated Shorts. This week, THE LIGHTHOUSE (pictured), a gothic thriller with critically acclaimed performances by Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson; the great French comic actor Jacques Tati in MON ONCLE; 63 UP, the latest of Michael Apted’s 7 Up series, tracing the lives of ordinary British schoolchildren through their adult lives; and next Monday, rated the best film comedy of all time, Billy WIlder’s SOME LIKE IT HOT, starring a sultry Marilyn Monroe, and Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in drag!

This Friday (Jan 24) is free for ALL CU STUDENTS (w/ ID), courtesy of Welcome Weekend! THE LION KING followed by HUSTLERS!

Hot Tip:
Did you know you can skip the Box Office line?? It's true! And you don't need our All-Access Pass to do it (but hey, free movies for one low price ain't a bad thing either!)—we offer advance tickets online at CornellCinemaTickets.com for the exact same price as in person, no fees! If you plan on coming to one of our screenings, buy a ticket online, and either print out your confirmation or put it on your phone. Then just walk straight to our usher and they'll scan your ticket!  Easy.
