James and the Giant Peach

This inventive adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved children's tale follows the adventures of James, an orphaned young British boy. Forced to live with his cruel aunts (Joanna Lumley, Miriam Margolyes), James finds a way out of his bleak existence when he discovers a magic bag of crocodile tongues and crawls inside an enormous enchanted peach. There, he meets a crew of friendly talking insects. After rolling into the sea inside the buoyant fruit, James and his insect friends set sail for New York City, the "place where dreams come true".
Featuring remarkable stop-motion animation from Henry Selick, James and the Giant Peach is a magical odyssey of self-discovery and adventure that has enchanted generations of viewers.
