When teen Sarah is forced to babysit her half-brother Toby, she summons Jareth the Goblin King to take him away. Unbeknowst to Sarah, the storybook world she evokes exists just beyond the façade of reality. When goblin creatures arrive and actually kidnapped her baby brother, Sarah is given just thirteen hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue him.
