Pulp Fiction

A woman in a white shirt and a man in a black suit dance the twist at the center of a night club/restaurant dance floor.
Two men in suits stand side by side pointing hand guns.

Quentin Tarantino’s second feature film follows the trials and tribulations facing three gun-slinging tough guys who grandly and ineptly muddle their way through a couple of drug and bullet- ridden gangland assignments.

Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) are two hitmen out to retrieve a suitcase stolen from their employer, mob boss Marsellus Wallace. Wallace has also asked Vincent to take his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) out a few days later when Wallace himself will be out of town. Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) is an aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight. Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer) and Pumpkin (Tim Roth) are a couple of young lovers and small time thieves who decide they need a change of venue.  The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are woven together in Quentin Tarantino’s marvelously meandering and infinitely quotable action-fiction.
