From endlessly innovative animator Masaaki Yuasa comes Inu-oh (“King Dog”), the tale of the titular cursed dancer (Ayu-chan) and Tomona (Mirai Moriyama), a blind musician, whose musical partnership elevates them from the margins of society to superstardom.

However, as their influence grows, so too does the ambition of those in power to stop them. Inu-oh and Tomona must dance and sing to discover the truth of their conditions, and to break one another’s curses.

“It’s a siren scream of a musical: angry and beautiful, rapturously animated and highly infectious.” (The Wrap)
