How To Blow Up a Pipeline

Cornell Cinema presents a special advance screening of How to Blow Up A Pipeline, directed by Daniel Goldhaber, featuring post-screening Q&A with producer Adam Wyatt Tate!

Based on the book by Andreas Malm, which argues that sabotage is the only viable method to prevent climate change, this energetic, timely film follows a crew of environmental activists who plot to disrupt an oil pipeline in Texas. 

Adopting the structure of a heist film, we watch co-conspirators of diverse backgrounds, each with their own motivations, diligently execute their mission. The pulse-quickening editing and superb soundtrack by Gavin Brivik provide a necessary sense of urgency to this environmentalist call to action that The Ringer labels “an incendiary, ticking-clock thriller.”
