The Craft

Students crowd a school hallway wearing uniforms and carrying backpacks. Several young women stand near the center as other students move around them.

Sarah (Robin Tunney) has always been different. When she transfers to St. Benedict's Academy, a Catholic school in Los Angeles, she immediately falls in with a crew of outsiders: a group of three wannabe witches, who happen to be seeking a fourth member for their rituals.

Like Sarah, Bonnie (Neve Campbell), Rochelle (Rachel True) and Nancy (Fairuza Balk) all have troubled backgrounds, which combined with their nascent powers lead to dangerous consequences. When a minor spell causes a fellow student to lose her hair, the girls are consumed — ready to wield their powers against all who dare to cross them, be they teachers, rivals or meddlesome parents.

Embraced as a cult and queer classic, The Craft is a spooky and fun fantasy-horror about being an outsider and remains an absolute must-watch for fans of the genre.
