Come See Me in the Good Light

Come See Me in the Good Light is an intimate and joyful story of love in the face of loss.

The film centers on the acclaimed poet Andrea Gibson and their partner and fellow poet Megan Falley as they find strength—and unexpected hilarity—in what might be their final year together. Following a terminal cancer diagnosis, Gibson embraces life to the fullest, finding strength in the love of their partner and inspiration to perform for a live audience as they grapple with moments of joy and despair.

This poignant essay-documentary, which won the audience award at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, is not a story about dying: it is a story about living, loving, and the healing power of art.
