Castle in the Sky

The legendary floating castle of Laputa is being pursued by aeronautical pirates and nefarious foreign agents, and it’s up to Sheeta and Pazu to keep the evil forces at bay and safeguard the sanctity of the floating island. One of his earlier films, Castle in the Sky demonstrates the classic elements of Miyazaki’s work, including fantastical flying machines, a strong young woman, and the dynamic between the human and natural worlds.
