John Hughes's The Breakfast Club is a timeless coming-of-age story that centers on five high school students from different walks of life, who must endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal.

The disparate group includes rebel John (Jedd Nelson), princess Claire (Molly Ringwald), outcast Allison (Allison Sheedy), brainy Brian (Anthony Michael Hall), and Andrew, the jock (Emilio Estevez). Over the course of the day, each has a chance to tell his or her story, making the others see them a little differently. When the day ends, they question whether school will ever be the same.
