Bloody Flesh (Carne de tu carne)

Two people appear to be halfway buried in the ground, with ferns growing over parts of their face, head, and body.

Amidst significant political events unfolding in the capital, a brother and sister develop incestuous feelings while isolated at a family property far from the city. The film delves into family secrets, taboo desires, and the intersections of Colombian politics, upper-class privilege and abuse of power.


Set during in 1956 during the military dictatorship of Rojas Pinilla, this film was co-edited by Luis Ospina, who directed the first film in this three-part series Pura sangre (1982).
