Namgyal Monastery Institute of Buddhist Studies in Ithaca is honored to present His Holiness the Dalai Lama in a series of public events called “Bridging Worlds” on October 9 and 10, and Cornell Cinema and the 7th Art Corporation (Cinemapolis/Fall Creek Pictures), in conjunction with FLEFF (Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival) and Ithaca College, will be presenting a series of films in advance of the Dalai Lama’s visit to help set the stage for this historic event. In addition to the film festival there will be an array of other activities, including the making of a sand mandala at the Johnson Museum of Art on campus, as well as talks, concerts and more.

Each of Cornell Cinema's offerings will feature a guest speaker at one of the screenings:
