Cornell Cinema’s
45th Anniversary

In addition to a special edition of its annual Elegant Winter Party, Cornell Cinema celebrates its 45th anniversary with these two programs. One is a touring package of shorts from our older cousin, the Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF), which was founded in 1963 and is the longest-running independent and experimental film festival in North America, reflecting Cornell Cinema’s own role as Ithaca’s premiere showcase for experimental work over our 45-year history. And in recognition of all the cult classics we have regularly incorporated into our line-up, we present Blade Runner – The Final Cut, which has been unavailable for public exhibition for the past several years. The 52nd AAFF Tour is cosponsored with the Cornell Council for the Arts.
