In conjunction with UNCOMMON WOMAN: Retrospectives/Perspectives: A Symposium to honor the work of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein on February 23 & 24, Cornell Cinema presents a special free screening of the film version, adapted by Wasserstein herself, of the award winning play The Heidi Chronicles. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Heidi Holland, a woman on the long and often bumpy road of self-discovery from the 1960s to the 1990s. The screening will be introduced by Professor Beth Milles (Theatre, Film & Dance), original assistant director of The Heidi Chronicles at Playwrights Horizon and on Broadway.
