Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is the largest festival of its kind in North America and one of the most respected animation festivals in the world. The Best of Ottawa program showcases many of the outstanding films presented in its Official Competition. The 2006 program includes such exceptional films as Joanna Quinn's award winning Dreams & Desires: Family Ties from the United Kingdom, past OIAF grand prize winner, Andreas Hykade's The Runt (pictured above), the energetic Mr. Schwartz, Mr. Hazen & Mr. Horlocker by German animation student Stefan Mueller and American Joel Trussell's music video for Jason Forrest titled War Photographer.
