The picture that united Bogey and Bacall has more than just sentimental value: there's suspense, humor, elegance, and the best one liners in film history. Nominally based on Hemingway's novel, the film is set in Martinique during World War II, shortly after the fall of France. Bogart plays a fishing boat privateer and Brennan, his partner. Bacall, as "Slim," gives one of the most stunning film debuts in history: "just put your lips together and... blow." Video projection.
