Come and cool off with L'Iceberg, a deadpan, nearly dialogue
less comedy from Belgium that tells the story of Fiona, a restaurant manager
who accidentally gets locked in the walk-in freezer and as a result becomes
obsessed with everything cold and icy, eventually leaving home in search
of an iceberg. "Sly, winsome tale... Gordon, Abel and Martz take their cues
from just about every silent comedy great... the film's deliberate color
palette and tightly choreographed, perfectly timed sequences recall Jacques
Tati. But there's an irreverent, off-center humor here that's distinctly
their own." (TV Guide) 35mm.
