Where Do We Go Now?
Nadine Labaki
Claude Baz Moussawbaa, Leyla Hakim

In a remote Lebanese village, women conspire to prevent an escalation of violence between their Muslim and Christian men as the surrounding country falls into civil strife. Together the women plot creative stunts such as faking a miracle and hiring Ukranian strippers to keep the men’s minds off of their growing animosities. “At heart, this jolly, galumphing crowd-pleaser, which won the audience award at last year's Toronto International Film Festival, is a raucous sitcom about scrappy little boys whose canny mamas conspire to keep them out of trouble.” (NY Times)
