Bryan (X-Men) Singer takes the helm of the Superman franchise with a new film that takes place following the events of Superman II (III and IV were, obviously, a kryptonite-inspired bad dream). After a five year sojourn to find the ruins of Krypton, Superman returns to Earth just in time to foil Lex Luther's latest plot, if he can get over his feelings for a certain Daily Planet reporter. "The film is magnificently mounted, it moves like a speeding bullet and it's so respectful of Superman traditions that even the pickiest of die-hard fans should love it. After a lapse of two decades, it revitalizes the franchise and makes it seem fresh and alive." (Seattle Post-Intelligencier) More at supermanreturns.warnerbros.com
